Remote Control
Using the remote control to switch of TV or switching it off from the TV directly?
I am using a LCD TV. I heard from some who said that switching off the TV from the TV itself is better than using a remote control.
However, by doing the former, when switching on the TV, it requires more power to switch it on so the remote control should be used.
Which option will allow the TV to function ideally?
Or both options are fine?
First, the story is nonsense. Second, if you use the switch on the set, and it breaks in such a way that it keeps sending a control signal, you can’t use the TV until it’s repaired. If you remote breaks, you can still use the switch until you replace the remote, if ever.
